There are places that don’t just inspire you — they remember you. Santa Fe was one of those places for us.
When we traveled there to begin planning our next Embodied Experiences retreat, we thought we were going to scout venues, sample spas, and check logistics. And yes, we did all of that. But what actually happened was something quieter and more profound: we were changed by the land itself.
The red dirt under our feet.
The endless, vast sky stretching further than the eye can see. Texas has vast skies, but these were even more expansive.
The way the desert holds both starkness and softness at the same time.
It’s impossible to be in Santa Fe and not feel the influence of Georgia O’Keeffe — how she saw the desert not as empty, but as alive, layered, and endlessly expressive. She didn’t try to make the landscape into something else. She let it speak through her. That, in many ways, became the heart of this retreat.
Letting the Land Lead
As we explored Santa Fe, we moved slowly and intentionally, letting our bodies guide the planning process. We tasted locally sourced cacao, imagining a ceremony that would open hearts and ground us together — something warm, ancient, and connective to begin our days. We visited multiple spas, soaking in mineral pools and testing different experiences so we could choose the one that truly felt nourishing, restorative, and worthy of your nervous system.
We walked through venues, feeling into each space, asking ourselves:
Does this feel safe? Spacious? Luxurious without being performative?
When we arrived at Synergia Ranch, everything settled.
Synergia is center for agroecology and inspiration. It is designed for embodiment, creativity, and connection. It felt like the kind of place where you could finally exhale — and where creativity might gently reemerge without force.
We reviewed farm-to-table menus, imagining shared meals, laughter around the table, and the simple intimacy that happens when good food is made with care. Each choice we made came back to one central question:
Will this help people feel more like themselves again?

A Retreat Without Pressure
This retreat — June 25–29 — is not about producing art or being “good” at creativity. It’s about remembering that creativity is a state of being, not an outcome.
Through eco-art practices, watercolor exploration, embodied movement, nervous-system-friendly rituals, a spa day, and spacious downtime, we’ve designed an experience that invites you back into curiosity, play, and inner listening.
No pressure.
No expectations.
No need to perform.
Just space to explore, to soften, to let nature and your body collaborate again.
The desert teaches us that transformation doesn’t require urgency. It happens slowly, quietly, and often beneath the surface. That’s the energy we’re bringing into this retreat.
Why We’re So Excited (and Why We Want You There)
Planning this retreat has been an act of devotion — to creativity, to embodiment, and to the belief that when people are given the right conditions, something beautiful naturally unfolds.
If you’ve been feeling disconnected from your creative spirit…
If you’re tired of pushing and performing…
If you’re longing for inspiration that feels grounded instead of overwhelming…
This retreat was created with you in mind.
We would love for you to join us in Santa Fe — to walk the red earth, soak under the vast sky, sip cacao, paint without pressure, rest deeply, and reconnect with the creative part of you that’s been waiting patiently to be invited back.
Spots are limited, and we invite you to trust the nudge if you’re feeling it.
Come experience what happens when you let the land, your body, and your creativity lead.
